5.3. Closure of account
We keep some of your data even after you close your account.
If you close your LinkXUP account, your data is generally no longer visible on our Services within 72 hours. We usually delete information from closed accounts within 30 days, with the following exceptions.
We retain your personal data after you close your account as reasonably necessary to fulfill our legal obligations (including requests from authorities), comply with regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce the LinkXUP Terms of Use or respond to your request to no longer receive messages from us. We retain personalized information after you close your account.
Information you have shared with third parties (like InMails and comments) will still be visible after you close your account or delete your profile or mailbox data. We do not control the data that other Members have copied outside of our Services. Group content and ratings or comment content associated with a closed account will have the source “Unknown User”. Your profile may continue to appear on third-party services (such as search engine results) until their cache is refreshed.
